To be honest, the best days in winter are “POWDER DAYS“, wouldn`t you agree? Fresh powder, blue sky, untracked runs, freedom, amazing views…
On such days we are no longer simply skiing or snowboarding, but almost floating weightlessly, and everything appears playful and effortless.
However, as unforgettable as these days can be, everyone who participates in winter sports and often goes in open terrain knows, that a passion for freeriding goes hand-in-hand with a knowledge and understanding of the risks, various snow conditions and dangers that one can encounter in the Alps. This means not only untouched powder slopes, but also steep gullies or sun and wind affected passages, which can present a challenge to any keen freerider. That said, with the right tips and tricks and a little practice, such terrain can soon become "(almost) no problem!"
I, as a certified ski guide, would like to show how to enjoy our Tyrolean winter safely. The basis of my philosophy is permanent risk management and evaluation of the alpine dangers, in order to give my clients an unforgettable freeride- or skitouring experience. That is why my motto as a guide is to minimize risk but therefore maximize fun.
I am looking forward to our “Powder Days“
